On-Farm Trials
22 on farm trials were conducted for refinement and assessment of various technologies in Cereals, Oilseeds, Pulses, Vegetable, fruits and flower crops and best solution for the farmer’s problems were suggested.
Front Line Demonstrations
KVK has laid out a total of 609 demonstrations of improved varieties of Bajra, Cluster bean, Green gram, Mustard, Barley and different vegetables in 186 hectare area. In all these demonstrations yield increase of 15-35% was observed.

NMOOP
Under this scheme envisages increase in production of vegetable oils 9.51million tonnes by the end of 12th plan (2016-17). KVK Jalore is implementing partner of this scheme. In 2016-17 KVK laid down 20 ha (40 Farmers) in sesame and 20ha (50 Farmers) in Mustard.

Trainings
The KVK has organized a total of 483 trainings of the including practicing Farmers Farm Women, Rural Youth and Extension functionaries benefitting 9578 farmers and 4104 Farm women (total 13682) in crop production, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Plant protection, and humanities.

Literature Published / Developed by KVK Scientists
A Total of 72 extension literature was developed including research papers, folders, pamphlets, leaflets, technical bulletin, popular articles, Technical reports etc. and distributed among the farming community.

District Level farmers fair
KVK, Jalore organized a farmer fair under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Youjana (PMFBY) programme on 4th April, 2016 at KVK, Keshwana, Jalore. A huge number of farmers including farm women, progressive farmers, Extension functionaries (1000) and Officials of line department were participated.
